For us, that realization came from a deeply personal experience with our daughter’s care. It changed the way we thought about trust, staying informed, and what it means to feel connected when you can’t physically be there.
That experience became the inspiration behind Overvak.

We didn’t want to spend our workdays constantly checking a camera or our evenings scrolling through hours of footage. We wanted a simpler way to stay connected to our daughter’s day and be more aware of the moments we might otherwise miss.
So we created Overvak.
Overvak uses AI to recognize select everyday activities, from laughter and jumping to crying and falling. When an activity is detected, it creates a short video clip you can revisit. Personalized alerts help you stay informed about activities you choose to follow, while one daily highlight brings selected moments together in an easy-to-watch recap.
All without spending hours searching through footage.
